The Lights Have It

Ok, it's December now, so I can put up some decorations.  My tree isn't fabulous, but it does the job.

And everyone knows the Pohutukawa is New Zealand's natural Christmas tree, but my Zygocactus plant is pretty cool too - it always flowers at this time of year, and this year I've got 18 buds on it... they kind of look like Christmas lights the way they are coming out!  The pale pink buds slowly turn to a deep deep Crimson as they grow and open up.
