Survivor!

Not all old brick buildings in Chch are on the demo list... this one houses a couple of businesses in St Asaph St, and has stood up very well - only that little bit of wood at the top on the whole thing, and business trading inside.  1865... that's heritage!

Healthy Takeout!

I often get takeout on a Tuesday as I go to yoga, so it needs to be something healthy.  I've found a wonderful place, thanks to my friend Izzy, which does Moroccan - so here's grilled chicken with 3 salads (greek, lebanese couscous and roast veges) and tzatziki.... mmmm  and enough for tomorrow's lunch as well.

Music wasteland

I never noticed this when we had shops all along Colombo St - the base of the old Begg's Music store.  I guess we took a lot for granted when we had a city.

The store has relocated to the South City Centre ... the keyboard looking a little dusty.

Mum loved her roses, and although I'm not the gardener she was, I do love the ones I have too - particularly when you get such a perfect bud like this one...

I Haven't Killed It!

You may recall the peace lily I bought at the Ellerslie Flower Show Plant Sell-Off, which was looking rather crook.... well, it's still alive!  Some new leaves even!
