Things to love about Chch #5

Guess what I did today?  Watched THE CRUSADERS!
I would say, whether they are a top priority for people in Chch or not, these guys are something we, as a community, love.

Ticket... check!

Black Knight... check!

Crusader horsers.... check!

Defence... check!

It was a low scoring game, but so good to be at a day game back at home!!!!  We'll take the win.

Nature's diamonds

It's a grey dismal drizzly day today, but I looked out my window this morning.  This spider web was glistening with raindrops and reminded me about how nature makes even a boring thing like rain beautiful.

Is a packed 'chippy'.  My local was full to overflowing tonight... worth the wait in queue.  One of these days I'll be organised and phone an order in!

When you come home to a clean, tidy house and know you can just curl up with a magazine and a cuppa.

Well, it's nearly gone... the HGC barely visible (middle of shot) from the corner of Tuam and Colombo St.  In fact it is invisible from St Asaph St now.  You can see the soft stripping and work that has begun on Westpac in the setting sun tonight.

Time is Ticking...!

The 1st of May already!   I can't start May without a photo, or it's not a good start, but after a very long day and home when it's dark and fr-fr-freezing outside, this will just have to do!

Time is ticking... and we're 1/3 through the year.
