A helping hand...

I picked up my knitting tonight for the first time since winter, while I watched a movie.  A simple pattern that shouldn't have taken this long!  I had help tonight though.  Sort of.

Drain spotting

Sometimes a simple splash of colour in the most unexpected spot looks beautiful.   These flowers sprouting up near a lamppost and a drain makes a difference to the overall vista.

Thursday night, long weekend about to start. Home-made Thai Green Curry - and look how clean my kitchen is.  Even I'm impressed!

Mighty Big Carrot

I have been quite proud of my carrot crop, only a few did get tangled and forked.  This one however, just grew very big.  The pump bottle is to give some perspective on size. It's going to be grated up and combined with cashews, apple and potato to make carrot & cashew nut soup... Probably for Good Friday's lunch!
